3 Easy and Delicious Dip Recipes

When it comes to entertaining, a delicious dip can be critical! I mean have you ever been to a party where there are no chips and dip to snack on? Let’s face it, dip and parties go together like, well….chips and dip, lol. These three easy and delicious dips are so unique, they are sure to be a hit.

Bacon and Mushroom Dip

For those with a pallet for strong flavor and exquisite taste, there is this bacon and mushroom dip. This dip will probably not last long so you may want to have some backup in the fridge.

Salt and pepper

2 cups of sour cream

A small block of cream cheese

8 slices of bacon

1 lb of shiitake mushrooms

3 garlic cloves

1/3 teaspoon of thyme

First you will want to cook up your bacon until it is nice and crispy, and break up the bacon into small crumbs. Keep the bacon grease so that you can complete your next step. The next step is to cook up the mushrooms in the bacon grease for about 5 minutes until the mushrooms are soft. The third step is to mix your sour cream and cream cheese together in bowl. Then add the bacon, mushrooms, salt, pepper, and thyme to the sour cream and cream cheese mixture. Blend it well and place it in the fridge to chill. Enjoy!

Scallion and Feta Dip

This dip is so exquisite, you may be fooled into thinking it is very complicated to make. So go ahead and play it up to your friends. In reality though, it only requires 4 simple ingredients.

2 tablespoons of lemon juice

8 oz  of feta cheese

3 scallions

1 1/2 cups of sour cream

Mix all of the ingredients in a bowl and simply mash down with a fork. This really is an easy and delicious dip recipe.

Lemon Flavored Thyme Dip

This is a dip that is great for the younger crowd as kids tend to love good flavor that also doesn’t have too much going on. The ingredients for this recipe are very simple and you probably already have them in your fridge.

A pinch of salt and pepper

A tablespoon of thyme leaves

3 tablespoons of lemon juice

1 cup of mayonnaise

1 cup of sour cream

Mix all of the ingredients in a bowl, blend well and place in a serving dish. You may garnish with a little more thyme and chill in the fridge until guests arrive.
